With convenient locations in downtown Honolulu and Kahala, Queen Emma Ballet is a ballet school dedicated to giving students a strong foundation in classical ballet technique and a love of dance in an enjoyable atmosphere.

Class sizes range from 8 to 15 students.  Personal attention by instructors with distinguished professional credentials is the school's hallmark.  The school offers all levels of children’s classes, ages 4 to 18, and adult classes at the beginning to professional level. Jazz classes are also offered. Scholarships for boys are available.

Students also participate in the school's annual spring and winter productions which are staged at a local theater.  OnStage!, the school's performing ensemble, has performed for various benefits at the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall, the Hawaii Theater, Washington Place and the Waikiki Sheraton, in addition to regularly scheduled performances throughout the year.
Founded by co-directors, Eve Walstrum and Suzanne Rowland in 1989, the school's regular faculty includes John Rampage, Andrew Sakaguchi, Marie Takazawa and Minou Lallemand. Guest Teachers have included Bruce Marks (former director of the Boston Ballet), Finis Jhung (renowned New York City master teacher), Lawrence Rhodes (Director, Julliard Dance Division) and others.
